Class Description
It can be so healing to live our lives in sync with the changing seasons. As we head into deep winter, I offer this Slow Yoga class designed to help you explore the gifts of winter by slowing down, cultivating silence & stillness and connecting inward to tend your inner light.
A slower practice cultivates deep inner stillness and connection and soothes the nervous system, while still gently building strength and heat. Each class will begin with pranayama and meditative movement to create warmth and presence, moving into long holdings to build heat, focus, strength & balance. We’ll end with a long, deep relaxation, to help us to tap into the gifts of silence and stillness.
This class is appropriate for students of all levels including beginners and is especially beneficial for those working with illness, injury or other limitations.
