Every morning we have an opportunity to set the tone for our day ahead. It’s all too easy to begin our days by immediately grabbing our phone and scrolling, getting our minds instantly racing. We then jump out of bed and hit the ground running into our day.
It can be incredibly powerful to let go of that habit and begin our days with mindfulness, with gratitude, with intention. We can create the kind of day we want to have and the kind of life we want to have. Although we cannot control what the day might throw at us, we can face the day from a place of calmness, compassion & joy as we move out into the world.
Join me for this morning meditation class to jump start a morning meditation practice that will help you begin your days feeling centered, stable and nourished and help you to harness your energy for the day ahead.
We'll meet on Zoom every other Friday at 7:00 AM for some gentle stretches, a short Dharma talk and 20 minutes of meditation. If you can't make it for 7:00 AM, all sessions will be recorded and available for unlimited streaming through September.
You'll need a yoga mat and cushion, folded blanket or chair for sitting meditation.
